McDonald Engineers have shown their ability to deliver bespoke solutions for every type of application, by designing and manufacturing a 360 litre unvented POWERflow cylinder for a 16th century castle.
Invercauld Castle was originally built as the home of the Clan Farquharson however it now operates as a luxury shooting and fishing lodge in Aberdeenshire.
McDonald Engineers were recommended to the owners of Invercauld Castle when they chose to upgrade the direct vented system that supplied hot water throughout the castle.
McDonald Engineers supplied a 360 litre POWERflow tank, which provides hot water quickly and efficiently to easily meet the demands of guests staying at the castle.
McDonald Engineers’ Sales Director, Jamie Stewart, said: "We have provided hot water systems to a wide variety of locations, from army barracks to castles, however we approach each project with the same level of professionalism.”
He continued, “The reliability of our products has made them particularly popular for properties in remote areas, such as highland estates and lodges. It significantly reduces the chance of installation problems, therefore avoiding call backs, which can potentially take up most of an installer’s day.”
