McDonald Engineers is celebrating another achievement as it picked up the Best Performing Business Award at the prestigious Fife Business Awards ceremony held last week.
The awards recognise Fife businesses which have shown outstanding performance in their area and have helped to drive forward the local economy.
McDonald Engineers secured the award after demonstrating sustained growth within the highly competitive construction market despite substantial rises in raw materials. Their expertise and experience in designing and manufacturing hot water cylinders for use with renewable energy sources was also recognised.
The company’s innovation was also praised after it launched ECOflow, the UK’s first dedicated heat pump cylinder as well as its CUBEflow rectangular hot water tank and most recently the STEELflow stainless steel cylinder.
McDonald Engineers’ Managing Director, Bill Stewart, commented “We are thrilled to have won this award, especially after the level of investment we have made in the 3 new products. This is enabling us to access new markets and offer a product for virtually every price point.”
He continued, “However, the award really recognises the hard work, commitment and dedication of our staff in continuing to deliver the high quality products and world class service.”
