McDonald Engineers has once again risen to the challenge, quite literally, by manufacturing a bespoke hot water cylinder, measuring in at 1830mm in height and just 280mm in diameter, to the client's exact specifications as provided in the form of the old cylinder.
The company has been manufacturing energy efficient hot water cylinders since 1945 and has an extensive range of standard cylinders including its POWERflow 2000 unvented cylinder, its THERMflow Thermal Store and its ELECTRAflow Electric Wet Heating System.
However, McDonald Engineers' highly efficient manufacturing set up, has also enabled the company to establish its position as one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bespoke hot water cylinders, with thousands of unique cylinders to its name.
McDonald Engineers' Sales Director, Jamie Stewart, explained "Our manufacturing facility was designed with one thing in mind - to be able to produce superior quality cylinders. We combine advanced CNC machining with highly skilled tradesmen who are more than capable of producing custom designed systems."
McDonald Engineers' manufacturing expertise is also regularly called upon by specialist contractors in the renewable energy sector, to produce bespoke cylinders often with several fast heat coils to accommodate multi-fuel systems such as solar, heatpump, gas and wood burning stoves.
Jamie continued, "In today's highly competitive market you must be flexible to the needs of the client and thanks to our unrivalled capabilities, we can more or less achieve exactly what our customers need with the equipment and skills we have on site."
